Mentor Characters in YA Literature

For this project you will choose an independent novel to read on your own. You will then record your responses and insights on this Wikispace. Here's a quick video introduction to Wiki:

Things to remember when working on your wiki:

• First you have to join the wiki. (Check your email for instructions.)
• Go to the page you want to edit
• Click "EDIT" in the top right corner.
• Now you can type your responses on the page.
• Be careful not to delete other people's work - remember I can see who's doing what!
• Make sure you click "Save" before exiting, otherwise all your work will be lost.
• NOTE: There is not an "undo" button. If you prefer, you can type your answers in Word, and then cut and paste them to the Wiki.

Choose Your Novel

• Visit each novel page by clicking the links in the left sidebar.
• Read the brief synopsis and look over the questions to get a feel for each book.
• Put your name in the table below to indicate your first choice novel. (You may put your name in twice if you cannot decide.)
